Montefiore is committed to operating with strong Governance across the organisation to support the delivery of safe and quality care and services for all our residents and care participants.
Montefiore is compliant with the registration and governance requirements as set out in the Aged Care Act 2024 and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. Compliance with financial and prudential requirements, as set out in the Fees and Payments Principles 2014 (No.2), are subject to independent audit by StewartBrown Chartered Accountants.
We consistently engage in ongoing continuous improvement and welcome feedback from all our stakeholders, including aged care workers, residents, care participants, and their supporters. Anonymous and whistleblower feedback can be submitted without fear of reprisal through the feedback section of this website, the feedback form below, or with the support of an Aged Care Advocate.
Montefiore provides the opportunity at a minimum annually for residents, care participants or their supporters to join our resident or care participant advisory body. In addition to this, any resident, care participant or their supporters can submit their interest on the feedback form below, which will be assessed in line with our advisory body terms of reference.
Montefiore participates in the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program. This program includes the submission of data to the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing every 3 months.

We wholeheartedly endorse the adoption of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s Working Definition of Antisemitism and commit to joining with the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and other organisations in promoting its understanding and acceptance to our members and in the wider community.
Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD)
The Parliament of New South Wales passed the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act (the Act) on 19 May 2022. This Act allows eligible people the choice to access voluntary assisted dying (VAD) from 28 November 2023.
