Roni Shorer

Roni has a passion for community engagement, philanthropy, and making a meaningful impact. In her current role as General Manager of Community Engagement at Montefiore, Roni oversees a diverse portfolio that includes Philanthropy, Fundraising, Volunteer Management, and Cultural Inclusivity.

Prior to her role at Montefiore, Roni spent four years as the Head of Capital Campaigns at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation. Roni’s professional journey began in Israel, where she thrived in the High-Tech industry. As a senior account manager for renowned companies such as Oracle, Ericsson, and John Bryce Training, she honed her business acumen.  Notably, Roni’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional life. She proudly served as a Lieutenant in the Reserve Officer Artillery Corps of the Israel Defence Force, demonstrating her dedication to her country and community.  Roni brought her expertise to the United Israel Appeal (UIA) in Sydney, where she served as the Executive Director for almost four years before her appointment with the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
