The month that was: December

A look back at the month that was December, where we celebrated the important work of our volunteers and nurse practitioners, and of course, joyful Chanukah parties with residents and their loved ones.

Celebrating our volunteers

On December 5th we celebrated International Volunteers Day, a day to highlight all of Montefiore’s wonderfully kind and generous volunteers. From providing companionship, playing games and organising activities, to assisting in the café and boutique, every day volunteers make a difference at Montefiore – we couldn’t do what we do without you.

Nurse Practitioner Week

We also celebrated Nurse Practitioner Week and the wonderful contribution our Nurse Practitioners make to the health and wellbeing of Montefiore’s residents.

Working across Randwick, Hunters Hill and Woollahra, our Nurse Practitioner team of Natasha, Elain and Jo provide specialised and personalised services and care, playing an important role in connecting all healthcare services to provide the best quality care to residents. Learn more about the difference they make to the wellbeing of Montefiore’s residents.

Happy Chanukah!

We were thrilled to welcome our residents’ family and friends to Randwick, Hunters Hill and Woollahra for Chanukah celebrations. Residents and their loved ones enjoyed music, food and took home a photo memento. It was a joyous and special occasion for all.
