The month that was: November

A look back at the month that was November, filled with concerts, outings around Sydney, visitors and some wonderful milestone birthday celebrations.

A friendship across generations

A couple of months ago we were delighted to receive some beautiful Rosh Hashana cards from students at Mount Sinai College Community. One resident, Robert at Randwick, was particularly grateful for his card and organised to send student Tyler a box of chocolates to say thank you. Tyler and his mum Gina then came to visit Robert for tea, sharing some delicious homemade meringues they made. A wonderful time was had by all, chatting and learning across generations.

Melbourne Cup

Residents at Randwick, Woollahra and Hunters Hill dressed in their finest race wear and cheered on ‘Without A Flight’ to victory at the Melbourne Cup.

Around Sydney

We enjoyed some spectacular Spring weather and residents made the most of it, getting out and about in Sydney. Hunters Hill residents enjoyed an outing to Kissing Point, and Woollahra residents visited the beautiful Sculptures by the Sea exhibition in Bondi.

Birthday Celebrations

We got the balloons, streamers and cake out for some very happy birthday celebrations for Alisa at Randwick, who turned 100, and Pat, Myrna and Harold at Woollahra.
