You will play a key role as part of the Interdisciplinary Team in coordinating clinical care for our consumers. You will assist with the completion of audits as required by the Quality of Life Activity Program and in accordance with the current Government guidelines. You will develop and provide clinical education programs regarding swallowing and communication disorders to consumers, consumer’s representatives, carers, staff and students as required. As a skilled professional you will be required to maintain high quality professional documentation for our consumers in meeting the Aged Care Quality Standards. Essential criteria:Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology with full membership from Speech Pathology AustraliaMinimum of four (4) years of experience working as a Speech PathologistKnowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQS) and Regulatory requirementsEfficient time management and priority setting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work well within a teamDemonstrated ability to effectively work independentlyFlexibility in travelling between sites as per operational requirements About you:If you have a passion and genuine interest in working with the elderly, enjoy collaborating with professionals from different disciplines and continually strive to work towards evidence based best practice, then we would love to hear from you.About us:Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 130-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
