You will oversee the quality of all food prepared in the Kitchen and also oversee the presentation for service of all menu content.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the quality of all food prepared in the KitchensOverseeing the production of all food in Hunters Hill Kitchens as directed by the Head ChefOversee the food service to Dining Rooms and Room ServiceAdherence to budgeted food costsControl of food cost, wastage and spoilageStock rotation and securityPurchasing of food product under the direction of the Head ChefEssential Criteria:Minimum 5 - 7 years cooking experience (previous aged care experience is preferred but not essential).Solid culinary skills acquired through formal training (Hotel or Commercial Catering) is an advantageCan-do attitudeStrong leadership abilityTeam player with the desire to grow and mentor other employees Excellent communication skillsUnderstand the needs and expectations of our residents, who are our primary focus within the HomeAbout Us:Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 130-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
