We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver an optimum level of quality care on a holistic level.As an integral part of the team, the OT Therapy Assistant, will assist the Occupational Therapist with the following:Equipment delivery, retrieval, maintenance, and managementDelivery of targeted therapy programs prescribed by occupational therapistsAssisting with ad hoc projects as requiredThis position will allow you to utilise your background working within allied health and rehabilitation to both contribute and support the OT within your department.Essential Criteria:Experience working within aged care or an acute hospital setting within a multi-disciplinary teamEffective teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work in both a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate documentation skills relevant to an aged care, care planning settingWell-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to form a strong rapport and relationship with consumers and staffDisplay a high level of initiative and take pride in promoting mobility with your consumersSenior First Aid CertificateProficient computer skillsDesirable Criteria:Occupational Therapy studentInvolvement in the development of clinical projectsExperience in assessment of clinical outcome measurementsWorking knowledge of manual handling and Work Health & SafetyAbout You:You will be a team player, have strong clinical capabilities, be able to demonstrate initiative, have excellent interpersonal skills and have a genuine passion for working within the aged care sector.About Us:Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 130-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
