A current opportunity exists for those seeking permanent, part time employment. The Role:This key role will have you working within a team of 11 Occupational Therapists and 2 Occupational Therapy Assistants. This role includes regular staff in services and opportunities for CPD. You will be part of a highly skilled and committed multi-disciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologist, Dietitians, Podiatrists and Therapy Assistants. Together, the team and the organisation are working to exceed the standards of Aged Care provision in Australia.Essential Criteria:Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current registration as an Occupational Therapist with APHRAExperience with pressure area care, cognitive assessment, seating and wheelchair prescription, functional assessments, falls prevention, and equipment prescriptionEfficient time management and priority setting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, promoting an environment of teamwork.Ability to work across sites as requiredAbout Us:Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 135-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
