Montefiore is looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Officer to join our IT Department at our Randwick campus. Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, you will act as the first point of contact to troubleshoot IT issues.The key to success in this position will be your ability to communicate with a diverse and varied User group along with your previous experience providing exceptional IT support.Some of the accountabilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:Monitor and maintain the helpdesk with actions taken to resolve User issues in an efficient and courteous mannerAssist with the configuration and support of User devices such as computers, printers, mobile phones and tabletsSupport other members of the IT team as requiredAssist with security monitoring and reporting, including antivirus and message hygiene solutionsMaintain User profiles to ensure appropriate access to digital servicesLiaise with external IT providers and log problems when appropriateMaintain the PABX system for change, move and renaming smartphones and phone extensionsSupport consumers with their computer needsSupport guests with WIFIEssential Criteria:Excellent communication skillsVery strong customer service skills and an ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholdersGood analytical and troubleshooting skillsGood time management skillsDemonstrated skills in troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devicesMinimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in the IT support fieldExperience in Microsoft server and client environmentsUniversity Tertiary Degree in IT or a related discipline, or nationally recognized post-secondary education level TAFE qualificationsExperience with Office 365, Window Services including AD, DHCP, DNS, IISDesirable Criteria:Experience in the aged care sectorIndustry and/or vendor certificationsKnowledge of digital and IP telephonyExperience in administering a Microsoft Windows based networkKnowledge of Linux operating systemKnowledge of Apple hardware and Mac OSKnowledge of Cloud solutionsExperience in VMWare and Citrix XenApp environmentAbout Us:Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 130-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
