This is a full-time position based at our Randwick campus.   Reporting into the IPC Manager, you will work with the residential care teams to implement outbreak management plans across all sites and support Montefiore's IPC program. The successful applicant will easily adapt to changing work environments and will demonstrate flexibility as travel is required across multiple sites. You will be able to apply your IPC knowledge and skills in supporting and promoting Montefiore's IPC program which includes antimicrobial stewardship, IPC governance, continuous improvement, and education. The key to success in this role will be your ability to foster a cooperative and supportive work environment and a demonstrated understanding and ability of meeting organisational targets and deadlinesEssential Criteria:Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse Registration (AHPRA)A minimum of 2 years post-registration clinical experience or relative experienceACIPC Course Foundations of IPC or equivalent along with experience in Infection Prevention Control (IPC)Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingWorking knowledge of clinical systemsAbility to research literature and source relevant legislation, standards, best practice, and guidelinesKnowledge of relevant legislation including Aged Care Act 1997 and the aged care accreditation processComputer skills and ability to navigate through electronic documentation systemsWillingness to travel across sites as per operational requirementsAbout Us:Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 130-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
