You will be strategic and innovative in your approach with the capability of driving continuous improvement and ensuring the effective and efficient utilisation of resources within the residential care portfolio.About You:You will have, at a minimum, 5 + years of experience in a senior management position along with an advanced working knowledge and understanding of operating principles, practices, and processes in relation to care services. Relevant tertiary qualifications (ideally in a health-related field) are also desirable.To succeed in this role, you will need to have a well-developed understanding of aged care regulatory tools and frameworks and how they are practically applied as well as strong people and financial management skills.As an organisation that consistently drives continuous quality and performance improvement initiatives, you will be a forward thinker with a progressive mindset to support our vision and actively contribute to strategic planning activities. As someone with high levels of emotional intelligence, you will have the ability to foster a collaborative work environment as well as effectively support and develop your teams. This includes Montefiore’s Executive Care Managers (ECMs) who have managerial oversight of the residential care units (comprising 8 in total) and are direct reports to the Director of Residential Care.Whilst this position will be based at Montefiore’s Randwick campus, travel to Montefiore’s residential care facilities located in the Sydney metropolitan area is an ongoing requirement of the role.
