This is a permanent full-time position based in Woollahra.Reporting to the Group Building Facilities Manager, the key to success in this position will be your ability to demonstrate excellent customer service, possess strong financial acumen, effective time management and leadership skills.  Some key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Maintain and supervise the operations of a small maintenance teamManage preventative maintenance schedules and repairsLead Continuous Improvement activities in maintenance and gardeningEnsure maintenance functions are performed in a timely and cost-effective mannerIdentify and organise training for maintenance staffCommunicate, engage and support other Departments in achieving their goalsCoordinate contractors, suppliers and resources to deliver projects on time and within budgetEssential Criteria:A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance supervisory role (aged care preferred)Demonstrated WH&S knowledge and applicationDemonstrated fire safety experienceExcellent interpersonal skills along with effective written and oral communication skillsStrong computer skillsAbout us: Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 130-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
