Award winning and innovative Aged Care Provider, including recipient of Voice Project’s "Best Workplace Award 2021"Robust multi-disciplinary team environmentNFP salary packaging and excellent benefitsAccessible Randwick location with spacious Physio gymAt Montefiore we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver an optimum level of quality care by working together with the clinical staff to service consumers on a holistic level.As an Exercise Physiologist you will be responsible for:Program design and evaluation and reviewing of consumer programs in consultation with our PhysiotherapistsConducting small group exercise classes in the neighbourhoodsDriving our HUR program and participation in the hydrotherapy programSupporting and reviewing our current delivery of service to our Help at Home clients (COVID permitting) to optimise client outcomes on and off campusUtilise your background working within allied health and rehabilitation to both contribute and support the lead allied health professionals within your departmentParticipate in inhouse staff training in your current or developing areas of expertiseEssential Criteria:Current Accreditation with ESSA as an approved Accredited Exercise PhysiologistBusiness acumen to review our current EP program deliveryExperience working within Aged Care or an acute hospital setting within a multi-disciplinary teamEffective teamwork and communication skillsDemonstrated experience in leading exercise classesAbility to work in both a fast-paced environment while maintaining credible documentation skills relevant to an Aged Care, care planning settingWell-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to form a strong rapport and relationship with consumers and staffDisplay a high level of initiative and take pride in promoting mobility with your consumersIntermediate computer skills, proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office SuiteTravel within the Sydney metropolitan areas, potentially across our campuses and as part of our homecare service is required and so own transport and a current driver’s licence is essential.
