Dementia is the most significant health issue affecting older Australians. Three in ten people over 85 live with some form of dementia, including the most common, Alzheimer’s Disease.
At Montefiore, we provide expert care for community members at all stages of the ageing journey, including the 44% of residents who live with dementia.
Our advanced, moderate and mild dementia specific residential care units allow for tailored care practices to meet the individual needs of all residents experiencing cognitive decline.
Our unique ability to provide specialised care for residents living with dementia is another example of our commitment to providing outstanding residential care to our community’s most vulnerable members.

In accordance with the Rules of Montefiore, in order to be eligible to vote at an Annual General Meeting (AGM), a person must be either a Life Governor or have made a Membership payment in respect of the financial year immediately preceding the date of the AGM at which they intend to vote. Accordingly, payment of membership fees in relation to the 2023-2024 financial year will entitle you to vote at the 2024 AGM. Any additional tax-deductible donation sent with this form will apply to the financial year in which it was made.
