Lara began her career as a Social Worker, both in private practice and with over 16 years in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, she has varied experience in Social Work, and Allied Health. Working across South Africa and Australia, her passion for mental health has provided a solid foundation for all aspects of care and service delivery.  

Lara joined Montefiore as Executive Care Manager of the Dementia Unit at Randwick and was appointed General Manager of Allied Health Services in 2019. In her role, Lara uses her leadership and mentoring skills to support Allied Health Managers and staff as they collaborate to achieve excellence in care delivery. Always striving towards the best outcomes for our consumers, Lara is passionate about coming together to create the ‘Montefiore Experience.’
