Award winning and innovative Aged Care Provider, including recipient of Voice Project’s ‘Best Workplace Award 2021’Wellbeing initiatives along with Employee Recognition lunches and daily staff mealsGenerous leave entitlements (including 5 weeks of annual leave and 12 ADOs per annum)Extensive NFP salary packaging tax benefitsMontefiore has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to complement our friendly Payroll team of three staff, on a permanent, full-time basis.Reporting into the Payroll Manager, and working with an existing experienced payroll officer, the successful candidate will have shared responsibility for the normal payroll functions and will be based at our Hunters Hill campus. We look forward to receiving your application if you have proven experience in the aged care sector or similar industry with 24-hour shift rostering. This opportunity involves (but is not limited to): Fortnightly payroll processing and out of cycle adjustments if required, tracking leave, salary packaging, reporting and payroll filingLiaising with all internal and external parties relating to Payroll as required ensuring compliance and service deliveryTimely and accurate resolution of payroll related queriesYour story so far: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar end to end role within payrollWorking knowledge of Fair Work Act provisions including NES, Award/Enterprise agreement interpretation, Fringe Benefits with not-for-profit salary packaging, PAYG and other payroll rated tax matters including Single Touch Payroll (STP), Superannuation Guarantee and other superannuation contributions requirements and workers compensation related tasksWell-developed communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesExperience with Chris21 and Kronos is highly desiredAbout us: Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 130-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
