Montefiore is administered by an elected Board of Management.

Board members have a diverse range of skills and experiences including legal, medical and financial backgrounds. All Board members act in a voluntary capacity and are responsible for overseeing the Montefiore’s operations, maintaining corporate governance and strategic planning.

The Board is responsible for the continuing financial viability of Montefiore. Around 40% of residents are unable to cover their own cost of care. Sound management and generous donations from the community allow these residents to enjoy the same care as full fee-paying residents.
